The mild pinkish variety is available in India which ls used to make chips or curry for rice . Its easy to cook just like potato and delicious to eat too.

- Sweet Potato half a kilo
- Oil 2 teaspoons
- Urad dal 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried Red chilies 4
- Mustard 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon

Method
- Chop each sweet potato into two . Steam or cook till firm but not mushy.
- Peel and crumble them or slice them . Add salt , turmeric powder and mix well/
- In a sauce pan , add oil and heat it. Add mustard , as it crackles , add urad dal and redchilies.
- Add the sweet potato , mix well and serve hot with rice .
- A delicious curry is ready to eat .
Note
- You can add more red chilies or green chilies to make the curry spicy.
- Add curry leaves and coriander leaves to make it flavorful.
