Sapota / Chickoo Milkshake

 

 

 

 

Sapota is a common fruit available, in plenty, during the summers in India. The fruit is priced very cheap and has a host of benefits . Select soft yet firm fruits which are dark brown. Peel and use them in fruit salads or juices .

The Sapota is extremely good for people  low on calcium . If you suffer from allergies or are troubled frequently with cold , have sapota fruit regularly . It  removes phlegm from the body and increases the immunity . It gives a wonderful shine to the skin and prevents hairfall .

Milk is a good accompaniment to make Sapota or Chickoo shake .

Ingredients

  • Sapota             4 ( peeled and seeds removed)
  • Milk /Almond Milk       1 cup
  • Sugar or country sugar / Jaggery  2 tablespoons
    • Method


      Blend  all the above , together in a blender to a smooth texture .
      You could add a scoop  of icecream or ice cubes to make it more refreshing .
    • Top it with nuts or jujubes to make it colourful.
