Chukku Coffee , is mostly made in South of India , in most homes , especially during the rainy season. Instead of regular coffee and tea , dry ginger coffee is prepared . This beverage is healthy and has loads of immunity boosting properties. It clears the sinuses , prevents cold and cough and is very useful if you have digestive issues .
Ingredients
- Dry ginger 1/2 cup
- Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper corns 1 teaspoon
- Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon
- Cardamom 1 teaspoon
- Tulsi leaves few
- Jaggery powder 2 tablespoons
Method
- Powder all of the above and store in bottle .
- When you need to drink a hot beverage , heat 1 cup of water and add a teaspoon of the above powder and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
- After that , filter and serve hot the Dry ginger coffee. Tastes delicious .
