This is an instant pickle which can be made when raw mangoes are in season. Gets done in a jiffy and tastes well too.
The ingredients are very simple and tastes divine. Its a panacea on those days when you are not in a mood for elaborate cooking.

Green Raw Mangoes 2
Green chillies 4 ( chopped fine)
Asafoetida quarter of a teaspoon
Sesame or gingelly oil Two tablespoon
Mustard One teaspoon

Method
Cu the Mangoes , into four , remove rind . Chop the halves to fine pieces. Add salt , green chillies , asafoetida and mix well.
Heat oil in a small saucepan, add mustard . when it pops add it to the chopped mangoes .
Give a swirl and enjoy with curd rice or with just about any rice dishes.
This pickle has to be refrigerated , if you don’t polish it off on the same day .
Keeps good for a couple of days .
Instead of green chilli , one can add red chilli powder.
