Apple Milkshake

Apples are  healthy fruits , which are available, in all seasons . They are low in  calories and good for health . The apple smoothies or milkshake, can be had , as a preworkout drink or a post workout energiser. Milk shakes are popular during the summer season. The hot summer call for a cool beverage to give some energy .Children will love this tasty milk shake . This milk shake can be made during fasts , too .

Ingredients

  1. Apples 2 ( peeled and cored )
  2. Milk or Almond Milk    2 cups
  3. Dates   4 ( deseeded)
  4. Cashewnuts or Almonds   10
  5. Ice cubes
  6. Chia seeds ( soaked for an hour )  2 tablespoons

Method

  • Blend all the above, in a blender and make a thick shake . Add ice cubes
  • Garnish with some nuts or cinnamon powder  and Chia seeds . Serve  immediately .
  • Do not store for a long time . Fruits taste best, when blended and served immediately .
  • Enjoy .
  • A chopped banana or a tablespoon of peanut butter, can be added while blending,  to get a thick milk shake .
