Ginger , Mint and Tulsi Tea

 

 

Tulsi ginger tea is a refreshing beverage . This tea has loads of benefits of Tulsi and ginger .Tulsi is revered, as a Goddess in Hindu culture . Its found in most Indian homes and is considered sacred . A special elavated platform is created,  for this plant and is nurtured  with great respect  .  Tulsi leaves ,have anti oxidants properties  and boost the immunity . Ginger too, has antibacterial properties , helps in digestion , reduces blood sugar and strengthens heart and reduces cholesterol . Ginger juice, is used to treat nausea in Cancer patients , due to Chemotherapy .

Ingredients

  1. Mint   4 leaves
  2. Ginger grated 1 teaspoon
  3. Tulsi 10 to 12 leaves
  4. Water 4 cups
  5. Honey  1 tablespoon ( optional)
  6. Palm jaggery  2 teaspoons

Method

  • Boil water . When it starts boiling , reduce flame and add tulsi , mint leaves and ginger into it and let it simmer .
  • After 5 minutes , switch off the heat and keep aside for 5  minutes . Filter and  add honey or palm jaggery, drink immediately .
  • You will imbibe all the goodness of the tulsi , mint and ginger .
  • Enjoy .
